It is a testament to our military that it does not have a POLICY of looting the conquered countries belongings and actually discourages looting.
The average GI is not independently wealthy and after dodging bullets and inhaling smoke the idea of taking some despots ill-gotten loot probably doesn't cause a high moral conflict in his mind.
The sad fact is that while most folks see GIs as humans all the left wants to see is the c--p inside them.
