Hmmm...you present a new wrinkle, that thing about circumventing a site's login page. We should think about this. Doesn't the existence of a login imply that the site wants to control access to their material? Is it kosher to copy-and-paste to get around it?

You're not the first person to reference material from the NYT, and if it's a link, that login page really is a pain in the ass. I have way too many accounts to keep track of already, and I loathe adding any more than I have to. So I often just forego reading NYT articles and move on to the next thread.

Any thoughts?
