I don't believe any of it.
The NK population knows that it is starving.
It knows that it is poor, and growing poorer by the day.
It knows that the SK population much better fed and otherwise better off.
Its public health system is the bottom of the barrel: No medications, no IVs, no hospitals worthy of the name. In short, it is a very bad joke.
If Sudden Acute Respiratory Syndrome hits NK, the country will be devasted. It has no means to cope with it.
Of course, the NK government will blame the whole plague on the USA.
The only hope for NK is that it will not get into the country.
