Tom, you're such a male! Always trying to fix everything. That's sweet but I've already determined my avenues of best bets. I cannot climb steps so going to someone else's house is out of the question and getting down to a basement is impossible. My bathroom is tiny and has a window. My utility room has a door only and I can get into a place between the wall of the closet and the dryer to give me some protection.
This house is so old the piping will probably crumble if you breathe on it (*JK* Not THAT bad but...).
