This administration infighting and use of "friendly" surrogate press by cabinet members to trash their cabinet adversaries was well chronicled in the recent "Adams" biography, a great read IMHO. Reporters today being ignorant of history in the fine details regard any differences of style and opinion in a cabinet as signs of anarchy. Au contraire'
