And never will be.....that's just OUR wish for a bunch of desert savages.
Mind you, there are areas of civilization that WERE in place, full of commerce, the marketplace, laughter, homelife, reasonably healthy families.
But most of that's gone now.

Oh it will take "awhile to rebuild" (tell me to be more patient), but you can't take the desert savage out of a desert savage. Those hateful, infighting clans will exist forever.
Personally I think we should just have paid them well for their oil, and let the dollar sink to wherever it was going to go (obviously to Sadam's bank account).
Now we OWN their oil (Haliburton holds the contracts), so we don't care a WHIT about the people anymore. And the money's where?
How about using those billions of dollars in cash to help rebuild Iraq?
