Death is not a quagmire it's a tragedy.
Guess someone should start listing every drug OD, every teen pregnancy, every AIDS death in the nation and start discussing the left's legacy and the endless river of blood that it spills - making ALL the casualties in Iraq, and any FUTURE ones less than muon-sized in comparison.
Yes, when all is said and done the Iraq war will be remembered as the end of a totalitarian regime. The WMD, even after they are documented, will be a minor footnote. Free peoples will always celebrate it. That is what really gets in the left's craw after all their hoping and praying failed and nuclear armageddon never materialized.
Might as well start listing the casualties of the American Revolution, the Civil War*, WWI and WWII and hope that somehow we are convinced enough to change our opinions of the worthiness of those conflicts as well - regardless of the government's justification for initiating hostilities.
Have fun.

*The Civil war is ripe with futile high casualty battles, I'd start with that war for best effect.
