The Bush Doctrine...
...has us supposed to be believing that the toppling of Saddam Hussein would remake politics in the Middle East. It was a supposed to be a signal to radical elements in the Arab world. The recent surge of violence is a deliberate reply back from these groups attempting to prove Mr. Bush wrong. They are more motivated than ever.
