Nuclear powered rockets

It's time for the US to get serious about space travel. Nuclear rockets are teh only way to go. A new type of nuclear rocket called the "Nuclear lightbulb rocket" would allow earth to orbit rockets to be made much more robustly than current rockets, allow those same rocket to land under thei rown power instead of using the atmosphere to brake the space craft adn lift 1000 tons of cargo into orbit at once. All with out releasing any radioactivity! to put this in perspective the intrnational space station could be launched in just a couple of flights instead of dozens of flights. An earth to mars space craft could be launched in on or two flights instead of dozens. It would as revolutionary as steam turbines compared to oars in water craft.
