The real struggle is on the Palestinian side. Unless they can purge the leadership of those who will accept nothing but the extinction of Israel as a goal, nothing will come of it.
Under their current leadership, if Israel pulled out every last settlement from Gaza and the West Bank, and declared both a Palestinian state, I guarantee that suicide bombers would continue to kill Israelis. Only the terrorists would have more secure places to hide.
