I think the US is a fine place to live. this All right or All wrong argument is puerile at its best and ignorant at the worst. The democratic process requires informed dissent and informed discussion.
"Perhaps your opinions will then match reality a little closer. "
Okay, Mark- Please, bring my attention to where I am wrong- or are you afraid to enter into debate with me on these topics?
You state with conviction that I am wrong, but are unabele or too lazy to bring forth reasons why, either in argument or in sourced facts. I see no reason to believe you.
"Try Iraq first then go live in Cuba and Libya."
In other words:"America, lover er or leave er, ya dang commie!"
Lets try the same argument on you, you old hack:
Mark: This country is based upon the public forum and informed consent. If you can't tolerate these peinciples of American Freedom- if you can't abide these things that make this country superlative- then your abiding here is wasted on you. Lets allow a Cuban or Libyanm to immigrate and take over the burdens of your citizenship
" Comments such as those above are simply smart ass responses with no relation to reality."
To threaten to make war is to threaten to kill some childs parents. To make war is to shoot someones parents. To Occupy is to point a gun at soomeones parents. I suggest that if you consider my remarks 'smart ass', that you are a dumb-ass. I also suggest that you are out of touch with reality if you think we did not threaten to shoot, kill and point guns at the parents of Iraqi children.
Do you think we made war with and now occupy an Iraq that is on some other planet?

Davin
