Yeah, my feeling is that even when this administration was on the right side of things, they find some way to screw the pooch.

Afghanistan could get really ugly, and our refusal to sink more $$$ and troops into it has befuddled me. Bribes and firepower will keep the nutzoids in line only so long and keep the sane on our side only for so long. We need to do more than occupy Kabul and keep Karzai breathing, we need to seriously invest in that country and do the right thing. Otherwise, It will be Airplanes and Skyscrapers (or something just as bad, or worse) in another 10-15 years.
