re: Actually I hope they publish regularly
I want to hear about their progress. Maybe see some graphics too. I also want to hear about steps they've taken to solve particularly difficult problems. The fact is most scientists keep a far too low profile, and their publications are almost never read: for example the thousands of volumes of scientific journals in the stacks at the local university, who knows what's all there Most of them don't even have searchable abstracts!
