Except for the WMDs, the Iraqi War has been a clear win for Bush. However if Bush does (or did) bungle the WMD issue then the opponents of the war can do some political salvage. It would be very cool if it turns out the Bush was leading them towards a political trap. However I suspect he is not that subtle, i.e., if he had the evidence of WMDs then he would have immediately revealed that information.
