Aren't there better (& more economical) places in the USA from which to launch?
I realize that Florida's governor has an influential brother, but there are ALREADY 3 other licensed spaceports in the USA and plenty of others are in the oven. This is the case DESPITE how the noncontroversial, bipartisan spaceport investment incentive act

remains unapproved despite longstanding similar tax breaks in the railroad and airline industries (etcetera).
The more money we waste, the less we have with which to do worthwhile things (such as endow a Mars sample return prize: http://www.spaceprojects.com/prizes )
