George Patton was kicked out of West Point in his first year...
...because he could not keep up with the math requirement. He took the year off and crammed math, and came back to West Point the next year. Ultimately graduated. But math was always a severe struggle for him.
Some people are not good at it. Not everyone designs airplanes. Some of us only aspire to being generals.
