Look I'm not trying to be a "chicken little" AKA EP Grondine...
Yes, most of this type of impact hits oceans or seas or unpopulated areas, thus we never hear about them. In this case no injures were reported, no damage to infrastructure occured........
But, it only takes one hitting Manhattan or DC area and a 3 mile in diameter impact zone will seem really really big!
