Which makes me think that piloting a spacecraft is very very different from piloting a plane. Spacecrafts travel much faster than planes but their relative speeds must be very low.
When they approach, the chasing spacecraft must get to a slightly lower orbit to catch up with the passive spacecraft.
Computers have a much more important role to play in space and changing trajectory in space is, a matter of carefully calculated jet bursts while the plane pilots have a joystick to take controle.
