Blue Shield stands to rake in billions and the medical profession goes down the toilet in terms of quality, thousands of small businesses are taxed unfairly and uninsured Americans are effectively levied a new and imposing tax - up to $150 a month.

What a royal rip off.

Anyone just has to travel to europe to see the lines, shoddy coverage and botched operations to realize socialized medicine is a formula for disaster.

At least today uninsured Americans who find someone to treat them have the right to sue their practitioners if they botch an operation. A federal program will naturally be protected from lawsuits and judges and other bureacrats will naturally shield the national coffers - effectively shafting the poor person twice, first with a $150 a month tax and then no recourse after the Blue Shield scheme leaves him with the wrong organs removed.

Socialists are sick, in more ways than one, and every time they pull these schemes together with the willing and greedy monopolists (not capitalists;-) they threaten the very fabric of our nation.
