The short war and unexpected lack of resistance may help keep the cost of the actual Iraq War to less than the $63 billion requested.
A far cry from the $100 to $200 billion that the anti-war crowd was ballyhooing for months.
Granted, this new figure does not include the considerable costs of occupation, but then as far as I know, neither did the anti-war figures.
