It is impossible to negotiate if one of the parties is only interested in destruction.
Until now, Hamas has been only another Arab version of the SS, dedicated to killing jews and others they don't like.
Whatever injustices the Pals have experienced in the Occupation, they will never be addressed or resolved as long as a great number of Pals hold on to the fantasy that they can destroy Israel by terror.
All parties, including the US, need to remember this, imho.
