Something To Consider
Ever compared France's tourism industry in dollars/euros or pure number of tourists to the largest tourist states in the US? Europe and the US have a similar population with similar incomes, ease of tourism within a similar geographical area; but by definition internal US tourists do not count while France's next door neighbors do. Tourism from foreign countries is hardly an equitable measure of tourist draw.
Who draws more tourists from the far east particularly Japan and Australia? I'll bet it's the US.
Regards,
Mark (It's hard to fool a real statistician with bogus measures of comparison)
