Namely, a "U.S.-led" initiative into Palestine, a nation which currently holds admitted international terror organizations. After all, no one else will ever raise an armed finger in that perilous region.
Many will even claim that until Israel removes its "settlements", any U.S.-led action should include strikes against Israeli holdings.
That, of course, would be condoning U.S.-led terror strikes.
No, the War on Terror will continue -- as will the protests.
Many of the narrow-minded will hem and haw any U.S.-led military action in the Holy Lands, while many others thump the profit’s sand with their fists in protest against such action, an action which will likely end in the crippling, or even the deaths of these same international terror groups currently known to reside within Palestine. The protests, of course, will be against collateral civilian damage and deaths associated with armed assaults in populated regions. Civilian property and lives which would likely be ruined without intervention, however, can never be calculated, as this "slow motion war" would continue on throughout the 21st century -- and possibly beyond -- taking a certain toll on all within the region, and many without.
We could wait and watch the little war proceed unhindered, as many wished we had with Afghanistan and Iraq -- but I doubt we will.
