Cast my vote for capsules too, Raoul.

However, for Mars, it would have to be a mighty big capsule... with several trial runs as with Apollo. What rocket would be used to send a capsule or craft for such a mission? As for getting humans TO Mars, VASIMR is being mentioned again at the NASA site.
