Not to throw a wet blanket on this...
...but we've seen discoveries in the news before that didn't amount to what we'd hoped. I'll hold off until I see what comes out the other end.
My rule of thumb is it's probably really significant if someone from the DOD announces it at a press conference. If Rumsfeld announces it, it's gold.
Right now, I'm beginning to think our best bet is nailing Saddam. I think a lot of people we're interrogating who are clamming up right now would open up, and it would have the added benefit of taking some of the wind out of the sails of the Baathists who are taking potshots at our troops.
