Gephardt pledges to rule by decree
"When I'm president, we'll have executive orders to overcome any wrong thing the Supreme Court does tomorrow or any other day," Gephardt said at a forum sponsored by Jesse Jackson's Rainbow/PUSH Coalition (search) in Chicago on Sunday.

Sure it was a gaff but those who get a charge out of Bush mis-speaks should like it. I saw a video of the remark and it was a hoot. When he said it he actually turned and took a couple of steps, looked back over his shoulder, then turned back to the audience. It was vaguely Hitleresque or WWL-esque.
