That is, I 'second' Frank's third item - the pulldown in compact mode, "Space Science" showing as the default but needing to go to any other board first 'cause "ya cahn't get theah from heah..."

Oh, yeah... compact mode still truncates the frame-top button bar in the Guide, too. Can't get anywhere from there.

FYI - even at 1024x768 rez and a 17" monitor, which I've had for a week now, I'm still using compact mode. I tried the standard setting for a while, and ultimately decided all the graphic blandishments are, in the end, distracting... especially on the GeekSpeak Board. Fun concept, mind you, especially the chips-as-buttons, but the circuit board background is way too busy.

Could just be because I've been here since here was here - you know, one of the ex-MSNBC, ex-afterhours geezers - and I'm jaded. All I do is read and occasionally write. The compact layout gives me all I need in a well-laid-out and color-balanced format.

Possible to get full implementation on MareT? That is, the improved TOC as well as the posting box?
