WWII brought higher taxes, massive spending and full employment. End of depression.
The creative thinking of people who simply hate the common person is marvelous. Because of the readjustments necessary at the end of a large war meant the depression wasn't over is really a sleight of mind.
My job is simply to accept there are minds which can function by defining words for themselves and ignoring real-world input in favor of that which they want to be true.
That runs counter to everything I know and everything my friends know, and yet it can't be denied there are people who live that way.
