Space/Science » in reply to Martian meteorites do not eliminate the need for back contamination precautions on sample return missions

Barry, you seriously need to get a life! Post this in a new thread about back contamination, not here.

Barry wrote: This paper disputes Robert Zubrin's thesis that biological contamination from Mars poses no threat. Zubrin's views and those of fellow Mars Society zealots Mark Eby and Chris Vancil have been disputed by many reputable scientists including NASA's planetary protection officer, John Rummel.

Chris writes: I don't know which views you are talking about. I agree with Rummel. We should bring the unsterilized sample back to Earth to study it here, using prudence when handling it. I don't know Marks views on the subject and I'm sure you don't either. You know in one of those threads below I mentioned this view of my. I can only conclude you didn't read it or maybe comprehend it.
