How long will it be before BATF, the RCMP, and other authorities ban the use of nitrous-oxide for rocket propellant?

Ray Calkins posted a warning about the dangers of increasing
government restriction and supression of certain chemicals
meant for rocket-propellant.

> Amateur rocketeers, and 'private' space-groups are the target
of this government supression.

> BATF is apparently the worst offender in America as far as oppressing
innocent rocketeers. In Canada, it would be the RCMP
being heavy-handed in restricting chemicals meant for private rocketeers and space-groups..

> HEY! Amateur rocketeers and private space-groups don't work for
OBL...We're not interested in being terrorists!....We come in peace!

> What's next? The BATF, RCMP, Scotland Yard, etc. banning Nitrous
Oxide [laughing gas] for rocket-propellant? And maybe banning or restricting 60% Hydrogen Peroxide next? That's no laughing matter...

> I admit with a little chemistry knowledge, and with more than a little risk, you can convert Nitrous Oxide to dillute Nitric Acid using a 3-step process involving heat, oxygen and H20...And of course Nitric Acid is the basic ingredient for a wide variety of HE...But I REPEAT!...Amateur rocketeers are NOT terrorists or terrorist sympathizers, we ARE NO THREAT to any government or civilians...We want to pursue PEACEFUL
rocket acitivities without government/bureaucratic harassment.
We're tired of it!
