Diplomacy
It might be interesting to take Arab culture into account when discussing hyperbolic statements in our foreign policy. Although the details are complex, I know that diplomacy among Arabs is not what would be considered diplomacy among Europeans. Is it possible that Bush is deliberately playing to this a bit? I personally don't think he's that subtle, and it's much more likely he's just being Texan. Any input?
