We of course should all believe the pleasant theory that greenhouse gases can be pumped into the atmosphere without limit because it's economically inconvenient to believe otherwise.
That's what it boils down to folks. You can question the accuracy of predictions based on computer models with good reason but to assume away the problem is nothing but wishfull thinking. Any evidence in support of such a claim is countered by far more in support of global warming. This is why most planetary and climate scientists do not doubt global warming. The minority that do are readily seazed upon by those who simply wish to ignore the issue. All the text book level astronomy books I own (4) and several other advanced general readership books by numerous planetary scientists clearly support the concept based on successful modeling of the effects of global warming on Mars and Venus. You can of course always pick and choose your data like Barry or EP do. Do any of you own an astronomy book which discusses planetary climate that denies global warming on Earth is a valid concern?
Variation in weather is precisely what most computer models predict by the way. Increasing energy input gives the energy needed to upset stabilizing factors on the Earth's climate like certain ocean and air currents.

Mark
