re: For The Slowest Two

Barry and Ed both avoid rebutting arguments against what they write. At best Barry cuts and pastes some unrelated article on some other subject posting it many times in a thread.

I've pointed out there are papers written on things done at MDRS and FMARS. Do either of them address those scientific papers...no. Both of them claim to be reporters, yet seem unable to do even basic research on these papers...

If you do science you generate documents of some sort and usually publish. We do this and then Barry and Ed claim because we wear canvas suits while doing science it isn't science! Yet I point out there are parts of the Analog suit that are good analogs to real Spacesuit parts and they ignore my posts. Canvas is a good analog for a TMG made of Ortho-Fabric. It is cheaper and less durable, but has similar stiffness of fabric and drapes and folds in very similar manner. The helmet we use restricts vision in a very similar way a real Mars Suit would.

I don't think this is really about any of the things Barry and Ed claim it is about. They are afraid we Mars Society folks will succeed in at least some of our objectives and for some insane reason they think this will stop a return to the Moon. They are both devote to the Moon...it's a religion to them. Fine I could careless. Lots of Space Fans are in love with the Moon how could you not be? It is so close and we have been there and should return. Anyway, that why they equate interest in Mars with religion and what Zubrin as our high priest...we are Zubrinites to them...

What a pathetic joke that is! You two are clueless and it is a waste of time informing you of anything. Cracked pots hold little truth or water!

Time will tell how useful our canvas suit science is and science is science whether you wear canvas clothing while doing it or not!
