It's possible that your browser was caching old pages, or some other mystical hand-waving explanation. You probably have figured out long ago that us geeks don't always know the answer...even though we always are willing to offer one!

There's been a rash of "misdirected" posts lately. Even though they are due to operator error, since I designed the user interface the operators are erroring on, I feel responsible. What seems to be going on is that when you're viewing a message there are two Post buttons visible on the screen: The one in the message that posts a reply, and the one outside the message that makes a root post. What I think I need to do is make the root post button disappear when you're viewing a message.

Anyway, glad to hear the script problem's evaporated.
