My bets on the shuttle's future given the test results
The shuttle will survive temporarily as there are no alternatives.
The CRV will be reborn to take some load off the shuttle. It would appear to be a much safer way of getting people in and out of space. And it would be a great way to kill to birds with one stone.
Work will begin on a new multi-stage shuttle. Lets call it shuttle 2.
Just a guess, but the only alternative really is: No more manned space flight. And that's not likely unless some idot Democrat makes it an issue and somehow mananges to beat Bush in the General election in November 2004.
