I'll give it a try
but it's going to have to be better than my Economist.
The Guardian was my paper of choice in Britain (wait for sound of jaws dropping everywhere) and when I came here I briefly subscribed to the weekly Guardian.
Two main problems though - it was always late and thus old news, and it was mind-numbingly dull.
Translated boring stories from Le Monde didn't help either.
The Economist is well written, humourous and extremely informative. And I'm now used to it.
I give the American Guardian 6 months before it folds..........
