Personally I love the fact that we chose to spend $ on space
And I like humanitarian efforts to help Africer
But only because that's where I would personally freely spend my own money
Philosophically, I have a contradiction with our govt doing either
I take a limited view of what I think a govt has a right to do with a citizens work product
I'm one of those folks who believes that the govt has ONLY those rights that citizens freely cede to a govt, without tryanny of the majority where 51% decide that my money is their money
