Questions

As soon as I read that SMART-1 will be using an ion engine, I was curious about its trajectory and travel time, recollecting that ion engines give low but continuous thrust over long durations. Unfortunately I couldn't get the answers from the ESA site, beyond the tantalizing sentence "To save precious fuel, SMART-1 will use 'celestial mechanics', that is, tricks like 'Moon resonances' and swing-bys."...which only whets my appetite for more!

What do you know about it, Raoul? Anybody?
