This episode brings up a very obvious issue, and problem
If your country was one of the most desparately poor on the planet, with thousands starving in periodic famines and millions living constantly in abject poverty and malnourishment, but you happened to have uranium deposits on your territory, honestly what would you really do when the Iraqi purchasing agent comes calling?
That poor African country would have sold the uranium to ANYONE, including friggin' space aliens if they came calling, to raise revenue, if they knew they could do so without the major world powers finding out about it.
