Pols Disagree With Mars Nuts: Constituents have no interest in spending their money on manned Mars flight
the reason the "pols" get elected is to represent their constituents.
The more both see of Mars, the less interested they are in spending their money on sending a few people there.
Someday it will occur to you that I am not opposed to manned Mars flight, it's just that the impact hazard needs to be taken care of first.
