Of course they're unhappy

Who wouldn't be?

It's 110 degrees in the shade, you're looking over your shoulder and you got no word when the nightmare will end.

But at the end of the day, you're a professional soldier. No one said it was going to be cool, quick or safe.

Anyone whining to the press is basically saying they didn't really mean it when they signed on for the job.

Nobody there was drafted. Its not Vietnam.

Its no fun in the heat when not in gear. When in gear its often near intolerable. It makes even the most cool-headed soldier irritable and when around media-types seeking quotes and dissatisfaction - they should be fairly easy to come by.

The bottomline hasn't changed. The removal of Saddam's government opens up the middle east, weakens Iran, pulls us out of SA, shifts the battlefront from DC to the middle east where it can be fought by soldiers.

The plan, exactly as it was conceived, is working.
