Yeah, that's the way I always read my orders. And if you took a hard copy of the orders up the chain to complain about your "extended" tour of duty, you just might find a new set cut and sent back down to you explaining that your tour was extended, and you'll find the term "indefinite period" appended at the bottom where you would expect to find your rotation date.
A tough life, but one you should live to look back on.
