re: Liberty Playing Cards Does a Turnaround

I'm sorry she is upset that our attitude toward Saddam and his regime is "hateful." If Saddam doesn't meet the standards of a monster, I have no idea what a person would actually have to do to merit her dislike. On the other hand, apparently she considers Bush and his administration more worthy of her disapproval.

This person teaches social justice and morality to kids.

Social justice and morality.

God alone knows what her standards for morality are if she thinks we are being too hard on Saddam, and not hard enough on Bush. Again I am reminded of tens of thousands of signs and banners vilifying Bush, Blair and America in the foulest terms, and not a single one calling on Saddam to do something to prevent war.

I wouldn't let one of my kids within a mile of her.

A lot of peaceniks went to Iraq to oppose the war and "save" the Iraqis. Many of them had their noses rubbed in the truth, and learned a thing or two, but these revelations have become a "non-story" now. Part of the Great Amnesia that has rubbed out the bizarre and incorrect pronouncements and statements made by the Left before the war.

In any case, it's obvious this lady stayed home, and never learned anything.

The website for the cards can be found here. It is supremely ironic that some profits are donated to "Iraqi men, women and children who have endured years of suffering." If she had had her way, Saddam and his sons would still rule Iraq and the mass graves would continue to fill for decades to come.

Of the mere four cards shown on the site, two are flatout lies, (the Iraq war is estimated worst case at $4 billion a month, a far cry from $1.1 billion a day; and that economic sanctions were responsible for the misery in Iraq) one a Powell quote taken out of context, and one a hysterical article from the Independent.
