I've got friends in Arles (a school director who organized a memorable radio-communication link with ISS from his school Another time, I'd observe a moon-planets conjunction, come back home and chat with him about the same sight he had from les Camargues where he took a good picture. Other times, we'd be following a Shuttle launch or an Ariane launch from our respective PC's. And the guys from Provence saw the same sight only a few Belgians (and I) shared too: the only time Mir and ISS were seen together.
I love France; it's just that sometimes there are too many turns on the often narrow roads. Of course, that's the price to pay for a great landscape.
