10,000 ft ceiling
As for having to wait till they have a greater than 10,000-foot ceiling around Cape Canaveral, why can't they have some camera planes flying in the vicinity up to and above 10,000 ft? I'm sure systems can be designed that are capable of stable high-resolution video from an airplane. There are going to be a lot fewer launch days available otherwise. Of course this all costs money, and we all know that that's hard to come by.
