re: Atlas 5 launch maneuvers

I was watching the launch on the Internet. It may have been an optical elusion, but I thought I saw the rocket make a maneuver to the right after the SRBs separated. Then they showed a replay of the view from one of the on board cameras at that same point and it did look like it made a maneuver then. The view of the earth below made a clear shift in position on the screen, as it would have had the rocket made the maneuver I saw from the ground point of view. It looked like a lot more than a course correction, but more like a programmed maneuver. I've seen the same think on other launches. Am I imagining things? Does anyone know what is going on?
