A fitting end
A fitting end for murderous sons of Saddam Hussein
The News Tribune
The late sons of Saddam Hussein deserve no tears. Qusai and Odai Hussein were killed Tuesday during a firefight with U.S. troops in the northern Iraqi town of Mosul.
As their father's most trusted lieutenants, the brothers' hands were also smeared with innocent blood. Qusai and Odai oversaw the incarceration, torture and murder of thousands of Iraqis.
Iraq is obviously better off without them. But the political consequences of their deaths will probably vary.
