No good bastard internet reverse telemarketers
My seven year old boy came to me today and announced that he had won $1001. The award was displayed on a screen that featured Mickey Mouse and Disney World with a telephone number to claim his prize.
I told him it was a scam but how do you convince a kid of that when it is right there on the screen. So, I called the number and got the spiel just to convince him. Wound up it was the vacation property scam and would wind up costing over $500 plus airfare. Another kid's bubble burst.
With the national no call lists, I imagine we will see evermore deceptive ways to push this crap
