How can you cover a story where Americans killed innocents without saying "Americans killed innocents"?
First of all, until the whole story comes out, I would not plug in the highly loaded term "innocents." While soldiers are not perfect by any means, and tragic mistakes are sometimes made, I do not think most of them would punch bullets into cars just because they happened to be in range. I think there is more to this story, and certainly more than Fisk told.
I think just comparing the BBC account (and the BBC is not exactly pro-war) or the CNN account with Fisk's tells the story of rampant bias on its own.
