they should park it near the iss or add it. this would allow it to be serviced from the station.

okay so it won,t be in the best orbit for its use but i would guess it would allow at least another 10 years or more of use. even if the replacement is better (should be if they get the lens right first time) it can only look at one place at a time.

I also believe that the new phase of telescopes is nesting ie more than one looking at the same object at a slight different angle combining the results giving a better range than one telescope on its own so losing the hubble would be a mistake bring it back would be too let start recycling in space.
